About the Digital Technology Law Journal

The Digital Technology Law Journal is a wholly on-line periodical.  It was established in 1999 by the Asia Pacific Intellectual Property Law Institute (APIPLI) at Murdoch University, with the financial support of IMAGO Multimedia Centre, Western Australia.  The journal is produced and maintained by members of APIPLI.

DTLJ publishes papers on issues of law relevant to digital technology (including the Internet, software, E-commerce, databases, multimedia and virtual reality).  The journal focuses primarily on intellectual property law issues; however, papers dealing with other areas of law, such as defamation, obscenity, legal practice and data protection will also be considered for publication.
